Open Training Opportunities: The ALERRT program is open to all state-certified peace officers, federal law enforcement officers and military personnel in good standing with their units. (Most of the Active Shooter Response Basic Classes scheduled are "closed" to the public, with the host agencies filling the rosters.)

The Train the Trainer and Advanced Train the Trainer classes are filled based on the request list we have on file  Rural Ops (FORT) and Breaching Classes are filled on a first-come/first serve basis.

*Basic requirements for registration in ALERRT active shooter class are that the participants be state-certified peace officers, federal law enforcement officers or military personnel in good standing with their units.

Currently, the scheduled Train-the-Trainer classes are all filled, and there is a waiting list. Please contact ALERRT  if you would like to be added to the TEXAS Train-the-Trainer request list for FY10.

These scheduled classes and request lists are all based on limited funding we receive through grant proposals.

If your agency or state is interested  in funding   ALERRT classes  through your own resources,
please contact us and we can give you detailed price list and complete information for each class.
