Open Training Opportunities: The ALERRT program is open to all state-certified peace officers, federal law enforcement officers and military personnel in good standing with their units. (Most of the Active Shooter Response Basic Classes scheduled are "closed" to the public, with the host agencies filling the rosters.)
The Train the Trainer and Advanced Train the Trainer classes are filled based on the request list we have on file Rural Ops (FORT) and Breaching Classes are filled on a first-come/first serve basis.

Currently, the scheduled Train-the-Trainer classes are all filled, and there is a waiting list. Please contact ALERRT if you would like to be added to the TEXAS Train-the-Trainer request list for FY10.
These scheduled classes and request lists are all based on limited funding we receive through grant proposals.
If your agency or state is interested in funding ALERRT classes through your own resources,
please contact us and we can give you detailed price list and complete information for each class.
The ALERRT Basic Active Shooter program is approved through the Department of Homeland Security.
