Hands down best course I've ever taken.

I would tell you that I was not really wanting to come to this class because I had already gone to another class to become an active shooter instructor. That class does not hold a candle to this class. I wish I could of come to this one first! The class, instructors, material, etc .were a class act. I can only hope that my state would take this and make it mandatory training. Thank you. I can't wait to teach this great training!

The instructors carried themselves in a way that you wanted to hear what they had to say. I have been in Patrol for 10 years and this to me is what a Patrol Officer needs in his tool bag.

The training is incredibly informative and hands-on. Particularly incorporating medical self aid into the active shooter training, for me, has been quite helpful.

I attended the Basic Active Shooter course in August, in Waco, Texas. It was a great class! I was wondering if the course material was online, and if so, where can I access it? I am looking for the section that included what is recommended for a go bag.

It is really up to you what you want to put in your own "Go-bag". I took the "Basic" course and the "Train the Trainer" course. I got a bag together for myself, put in the basics for what you'll be doing. Put in extra mags, some basic first aid items (raid your EMS if you can - I went a little overboard and got basic first aid stuff along with some penetrating wound bandages and the like), get a couple bottles of water, a couple power bars, an extra light with extra batteries, and some flex-cuffs. It's your bag, put in it anything you would want to have with you if you decided it was time to "get into the fight and stop the killing!".
