I was really excited about taking the course. I hope to take what I gained back to my department. I feel that every patrol officer should have some base for medical applications.

This should be mandatory for Alabama POST and I will be making that suggestion. It should also be taught to all university Police Departments as well as school resource officers.

Chris- I do not know of any specifically for first responders. I'm sure there are a dozen or so out there for tactical teams, but have not seen any for patrol. I will check some other lists I subscribe to and put it out there. If you find anything, please advise on this site as well. Thanks Terry Nichols Asst. Director-ALERRT 512-245-1471
