| Description | By leveraging technology and incorporating interactive, hands-on tabletop exercises, the ALERRT Active Attack Incident Management Course (AAIM) breaks down active attack incidents into 3 distinct operational phases with key benchmarks for each. Collaboration across agencies and disciplines, improves threat timelines, accelerates medical intervention, and ultimately increases victim survivability through effective command and control. Rooted in the principles of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC), the curriculum provides a solid foundation for effective and scalable incident management. Our mission centers around the principles of — Stop the Killing, Stop the Dying, and Rapid Casualty Evacuation. Participation of Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, Schools, and Public Officials is encouraged. Together we develop relationships and an understanding of each other's needs and capabilities. The host agency and local point of contact control the student roster and applicant approval. Please reach out to the local point of contact with questions regarding attendance. |
