| Description | Course Description: Since the tragic attack at Sandy Hook Elementary School, law enforcement agencies from around the country have been receiving requests from their communities for information about how to respond during an attack. This train-the-trainer course is designed to give officers the knowledge and tools needed to deliver state of the art, evidence based best practices information to their communities. Topics covered include the ALERRT Avoid, Deny, Defend system, conducting active shooter drills, and the latest research on active shooters. Required Equipment: Good attitude, open mind, pen and paper. |
