All equipment, course materials and consumables are provided for your initial ALERRT scheduled courses: Basic, Train-the-Trainer, Follow-on. Beyond our direct support, if you have the instructor base through our Train-the-Trainer program, and you want to put on an INDIRECT class using Kit Equipment or just require class materials and expendables, then please contact ALERRT Logistics Director Zane Childress. Equipment is only authorized if available and if a department qualifies to obtain the entire Kit of Equipment.
The Indirect Delivery program is designed for ALERRT Certified Instructors who have successfully completed our 40-hour Train-the-Trainer course. Through the grant funding received, the ALERRT Center will support certified instructors who are delivering the ALERRT courses at their agencies. The ALERRT Center will provide participant manuals, pre-tests, post-tests, registration forms, course evaluation forms, and participant certificates at no cost to the instructor or agency.
ALERRT-Approved Training Kits
The ALERRT Center has contracted with KDL Solutions, as our sole-source, one-stop solution for all-inclusive ALERRT approved training kits.
KDL Solutions offers a one stop solution for an all inclusive ALERRT approved training kit that includes the specific equipment required for the active shooter training program, as well as expendable resupply kits.These kits have been approved for purchase utilizing US Homeland Security funding.
